Dillon Hurley is Vice President of Investments at Headwall Investments, where he leads acquisitions and plays a central role across the firm’s shopping center funds. Since joining the firm at its inception, Dillon has been deeply involved in Headwall’s growth, contributing across acquisitions, capital markets, and portfolio strategy. He has been instrumental in expanding the firm’s unanchored retail strip portfolio, helping oversee the acquisition of more than $200 million in assets totaling over 500,000 square feet.
In Headwall’s early years, Dillon held a cross-functional role across acquisitions and asset management. This experience provided broad exposure to underwriting, execution, and portfolio performance, establishing a foundation that continues to shape his investment perspective.
Previously, Dillon was an Associate at Avison Young in Houston, specializing in office, retail, and medical leasing. He began his career as a Research Analyst at Resolute in Austin and held internships at Partners Real Estate and Transwestern.
A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, Dillon earned a degree in Liberal Arts with a Business Foundations minor from the McCombs School of Business. He is active in the commercial real estate community, having completed the Real Estate Council of San Antonio’s Leadership Development Program and serving on several of its committees. He is also a member of ICSC and the Urban Land Institute of San Antonio.

Sara Houthoofd is an Assistant Property Manager for both Argali Commercial Real Estate (CRE) and Headwall Investments, where she plays a key role in fostering positive relationships with tenants and vendors across the Headwall portfolio. Before transitioning to Argali CRE, Sara served as the Office Manager for the Allen Office Building, overseeing daily operations and ensuring a seamless tenant experience. She also led the marketing efforts for Argali CRE, successfully elevating the company’s visibility and contributing to its business growth. A graduate of Texas A&M University, Sara combines her strong organizational skills with a deep understanding of property management and marketing to deliver results that enhance both tenant satisfaction and operational efficiency.
